Melanie attended the rigorous 4-year psychotherapy training at Oxford University, graduating with distinction with a Master's degree in Psychodynamic Practice. She is now a guest lecturer on the Oxford University psychotherapy diploma course.

 

Melanie has worked for a number of years in community mental health clinics, secondary schools and in specialist NHS providers and is currently school counsellor at Wallingford School and an outpatient support therapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, a national centre of specialist expertise in dissociative disorders; as well as her private practice in Hungerford, Berks. 

 

Melanie offers an open, warm and supportive space to explore whatever might be on your mind; working with you to increase your self-understanding and shed light on the sources of your struggles. Counselling is an opportunity to find hope, make sense of difficult experiences, painful thoughts and feelings, and transform the way you might understand yourself, others and our world. Melanie works with adults of all ages, and children aged 11+.
