What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you access the subconscious patterns that drive how you feel and respond.

In a calm, safe setting, we work together to reduce unhelpful responses (like panic, fear, or compulsive habits) and build healthier, more confident ways of coping.

The BLAST Technique®

Sometimes, after a traumatic or highly stressful experience, the memory is stored in a way that continues to trigger a physical or emotional response — even when you logically know you’re safe.

The BLAST Technique® is designed to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories so you can remember what happened, but it no longer creates the same emotional intensity or bodily reaction.

It uses precise bilateral stimulation (often with a light pen) alongside specific suggestions to support processing in the brain.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT / tapping)

EFT (often called “tapping”) is a technique that combines gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with focused attention.

It’s designed to calm the central nervous system and help release emotions that feel stuck from past events. Many people find it a fast, practical tool for easing anxiety and emotional overwhelm.

HypnoBirthing support

HypnoBirthing can be used to support birthing worries and reduce anxiety around labour.

The goal is to help you feel calmer, more prepared, and more in control — so your birthing experience can feel as relaxed and supported as possible.

What to expect
