CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY (CST)
IN HUNGERFORD & NEWBURY

"Our bodies are like electric batteries and keeping ourselves

well is about allowing the energy to flow freely."

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on treatment designed to help your body relax, release tension, and return to balance.

Using very light touch, CST works with the body’s natural rhythms and self-healing processes. It can support you physically, emotionally, and mentally — especially when stress, injury, illness, or past experiences have left you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or “out of sync”.

Many people describe CST as deeply calming and restorative. It creates space for your nervous system to settle, for the body to integrate, and for healing to happen naturally.

How does Craniosacral Therapy work?

Your body has an incredible capacity to heal — but sometimes tension patterns, trauma, or ongoing stress can interrupt that natural flow.

CST aims to gently clear those blockages by working with subtle movement and restriction in the body (including the fascia and nervous system). With a calm, supportive approach, your therapist uses light touch to encourage deep relaxation, regulation, and release.

What can Craniosacral Therapy help with?

CST may be helpful for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Chronic pain

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Emotional trauma

  • Headaches and migraines

  • TMJ / jaw tension

  • ADHD

  • Birth trauma

  • Recovery from injury or surgery

  • Tinnitus

  • Sleep disorders

  • PTSD

If you’re not sure whether CST is right for you, we’re happy to advise.
