"Restore the vessel, and you restore the function — mobility becomes the key that unlocks lasting health."
Laura Fishlock M.Ost
Wellness isn’t just about treating symptoms — it’s about creating lasting, positive change. At our Wellbeing Hub in Newbury and Hungerford, we combine Clinical Yoga, Body Alignment assessments, and functional movement programming to help you move with more confidence, understand your pain, and build strength and resilience for everyday life.
What is Body Alignment (and why it matters)?
Body Alignment is our therapeutic, functional exercise approach that starts with a Body Alignment Assessment. We look at your static posture and your current movement patterns to identify compensations that can disrupt balance and coordination.
When one area is overworking and another is underworking (or not firing at the right time), it can create a domino effect of pain, tension, and recurring flare-ups. Your assessment helps us pinpoint what’s driving your symptoms — then build a plan to change it.

What is Clinical Yoga?
Clinical Yoga is a calm, structured, clinically-informed approach to movement. It uses carefully selected postures, breathwork, and pacing to improve how your body moves — with a strong focus on postural awareness, musculoskeletal education, and safe progression.Unlike a general yoga class, Clinical Yoga is designed to help you understand why certain movements feel restricted, unstable, or uncomfortable, and what to do about it.
How Clinical Yoga and Body Alignment work together
Clinical Yoga builds awareness, mobility, control, and confidence in movement. Body Alignment adds targeted corrective exercises and progressive loading strategies so you can build reliable strength and long-term resilience.
Many people find the combination is powerful because it bridges the gap between:
-
Feeling better (reducing pain and tension)
-
Moving better (improving coordination and efficiency)
-
Staying better (building foundations that last)
