An Osteopathic journey – Patient Perspective

I first approached Laura for an Osteopathy session around 2 years ago following problems from a long injury plagued rugby career.

Laura had been recommended by a colleague as someone who would possibly able to help solve the longstanding issues with my back and legs.

I attended one of Laura’s clinic sessions for an initial consultation which involved a full case history and thorough all over examination of my mechanics discussing the issues I was having.

Throughout this I felt Laura’s knowledge and approach was really at the highest level, her explanations to what causing the root problems to my issues were certainly an eye opener, however I was very much thankful to know we would be able to work on and resolve these issues.

A round of initial treatment sessions followed by routine follow ups over 2 years have made a huge difference to me, not only to my pain management but to my everyday life. Although it has taken some dedication sticking to the exercises and routines Laura has given me to do outside of our clinic appointments. My progress has been huge and it is a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. I was worried I would be unable to exercise and lead a normal active life before visiting Laura, where now I lead a healthy pain free life keeping myself and my body maintained.

So if you are looking for an Osteopath who is friendly, knowledgeable and has a true passion for helping people – I highly recommend you to go and see Laura Fishlock Osteopathy. It may just be the best thing you ever do for you!!
